Come check it out!

Some of the Community groups that rent our spaces will be on hand to demonstrate their activities. If you are interested in signing up, please join us to meet and greet the following:

Saltair Quilt & Fiber Arts Group

Chemainus Art Group

Stephanie Roth, Performing ArtsI Instructor, of Musical Theatre & Dance.

Coastal Singers Choir Group.

You may remember the Saltair Centennial Celebration in 2010. Historical storyboards were developed that told the stories of original families in Saltair. The Society has looked after those story boards, and they will be on display at the open house for all to see again. People loved viewing these boards and visiting with the other original Saltairites. Please join in and reminisce with old friends.

Sign up for a yearly Saltair Community Society membership. Your membership allows the Society to host three public events per year and supports the volunteers that operate the Centre.

Annual membership fee is $10/single, or $15/family and includes an “I love Saltair” button and entry in a prize draw for joining up.

Coffee, tea, and pastries will be available. See you there : )

CVRD Community Circles

One of the main ways for the community to participate and contribute their ideas is through Community Circles. A Community Circle is a group of people having a guided discussion about the Cowichan Valley’s future.
Community Circles will be led by CVRD facilitators or by volunteers from the community who gather a group of people and guide their own Circle. CVRD led Community Circles will be held virtually and are inclusive.
